FOPPL Speaker Series - Model Train Club and 1913 Display

Dave Comer, president of Historic Railroads of Northern Michigan, will enlighten us about early Petoskey history on Monday, October 28, at 7:00pm, in the upper level of the Carnegie Building with a presentation on his club and its ongoing projects. The group of volunteers has recreated railroading in Petoskey in a to-scale replica reminiscent of the summer of 1913, with trains also representative of the equipment used in 1913. Mr. Comer will share more about the model train club and what they’ve come to learn about Petoskey while building out the 1913 display.
