Stop in and join our wonderful group of knitters and crocheters every Wednesday, from 1:00-3:00pm in the Library’s Large Meeting Room. This is for any age and level of expertise, though it’s best to have some basic skills.

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs.

Join us every Wednesday, starting at 7:00pm, in the upper level of the Carnegie Building for the Petoskey Film Series, the Library's weekly FREE movie showing that caters to an adult audience.

Why play with us? 

Join the PUPs (Petoskey Ukulele Players), a group of amateur, self-taught musicians every Thursday afternoon from 12:30pm to 3:00pm in the Lower Level Classroom. The program is open to new members of all ages and skill levels.

In celebration of Law Day 2025, members of Emmet-Charlevoix Bar Association are once again hosting an “Ask the Lawyers” event at the Library on Thursday, May 1, in the Lower Level Classroom from 4:00-6:00pm.

Calling all tween/teen fans of anime and manga! Anime club is for fans in 7th-12th grades and features activities, snacks, and anime (of course)!

Celebrate World Labyrinth Day by joining us for the "Walk as One at 1" on Saturday, May 3, in the outdoor area of the Library.

The 2025 PDL Chess Championship will take place on Saturday, May 3, at the Carnegie Building, beginning at 1:00pm.

May the 4th be with you! Join us for an all ages Star Wars Event! Meet costumed Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion! There will also be trivia, food, games, and an opportunity to make your own lightsaber!

Nature Play is for toddlers and preschoolers who, with caregivers, will make observations outdoors. Children will be invited to touch, smell and get messy with natural objects.
