Grim Paradise: The Cold Case Search for the Mackinac Island Killer

Samba is a variation of the card game Canasta. The version of Samba played in the Library uses six 52-card decks plus 12 jokers. Each round takes around 30-60 minutes to play with players typically agreeing to play three rounds.

We will read From Here to There: A First Book of Maps by Vivian French then make a map of our own.

Calling all tween/teen fans of anime and manga! Anime club is for fans in 7th-12th grades and features activities, snacks, and anime (of course)!

Petoskey District Library is partnering with Encore Financial Group and Rasmussen, Teller & Caron, P.C. again this year to sponsor a Community Shred Day program on Saturday, May 17, from 8:00am to 11:00am.

The Straits Area Amateur Radio Club has existed since 1950, serving northern lower Michigan and southeastern upper peninsula. The SAARC is dedicated to providing reliable emergency communications and supporting local community events.

Do you sing? Play an instrument? Write poetry? Dance? Paint? Make cookies or have some other creative gift? Join us at the Carnegie Building for Creative Cafe - a free, unique open mic event to share your creative gifts with the community.

Nature Play is for toddlers and preschoolers who, with caregivers, will make observations outdoors. Children will be invited to touch, smell and get messy with natural objects.

Learn to play chess or play against others. Young people ages 8–18 are welcome to drop in. Chess Club is mentored by Robert Bemben, Robin Ray and Adam Masek.

The Page Turners Book Club typically meets on the third Tuesday of the month in the Large Meeting Room. Titles are selected quarterly by the participants. Join us for a discussion and refreshments inspired by the story!

People ages 20-40 are invited to A Third Place on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the upper level of the Carnegie Building from 6:30pm to 8:00pm during the months of March, April, and May.
