Discover the magic of sourdough in this free hands-on, fun, and interactive four-session program with Shannon Villarreal, The Kneady Baker! We’ll start by creating your own sourdough starter in class, learning about the fascinating science behind it and how it brings bread to life. Once your starter is built up and ready, we’ll move on to making the dough together. Soon you’ll be baking your own delicious sourdough loaves at home! Whether you’re a beginner or a bread enthusiast, this class is full of learning, hands-on experience, and of course, tasty results! Class size is limited. Registration is required and includes all four Thursday sessions (Jan. 8, Jan. 29, Feb. 5 and Feb. 12).
NOTE: This workshop filled up quickly and library staff is working on either expanding the class size or offering additional dates. We've increased the waitlist number so if you are interested in attending, please do sign up to go on the waitlist so we can determine how we might accommodate as many people as we can either with this series of workshops or with additional dates. Thank you!
