Storytime introduces your child to books, rhymes, music, puppets, flannelboard stories, taking turns, paying attention, and being in a group. All storytimes are different but they're all a lot of fun!

Stop in and join our wonderful group of knitters and crocheters every Wednesday, from 1:00-3:00pm in the Library’s Large Meeting Room. This is for any age and level of expertise, though it’s best to have some basic skills.

Join Nikki as they demonstrate how to digitize your old VHS tapes using Makerspace equipment!

*Program intended for Teens (13 and up) and Adults*

Join other Mac (Macbook, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch) users to share and learn from each other in a friendly environment. We will learn about peripherals, software, features, and how to use them properly. 

Join us every Wednesday, starting at 7:00pm, in the upper level of the Carnegie Building for the Petoskey Film Series, the Library's weekly FREE movie showing that caters to an adult audience.

Join the PUPS (Petoskey Ukulele Players), a group of amateur, self-taught musicians every Thursday afternoon from 12:30pm to 3:00pm in the Lower Level Classroom. The program is open to new members of all ages and skill levels.

Our Teen Makers will meet every third Thursday for a fun maker project! The making will happen at 4:00pm in the Makerspace! *For grades 7-12, please*

The Straits Area Amateur Radio Club has existed since 1950, serving northern lower Michigan and southeastern upper peninsula. The SAARC is dedicated to providing reliable emergency communications and supporting local community events.

Play with the toys on Monday! This is a great opportunity to connect with each other, play with some different toys, and look at and check out library books. Drop-in between 10:00am and 11:30am or stay the whole time.

Join other chess enthusiasts for our Adult Chess Club. No membership needed -- just drop in and play! The Library will provide a few chess sets, but feel free to bring your own set, if you'd like.

It's Storytime at the Bayfront Park Playground! The children's librarians will bring books, songs, and a parachute for early learning fun.  

If you are a teen and enjoy learning about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math), then come down to the Makerspace and join us as we learn about different topics.

People ages 20-40 are invited to "A Third Place" on the first and third Tuesdays of the month in the upper level of the Carnegie Building from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

NOTE:  Due to the Friends annual summer book sale, the Petoskey Ukulele Players will meet in the Children's Program Room on July 23.

The Board meets at 5:00pm on the fourth Thursday of each month, with exceptions in March and November. There is no meeting in December. Meetings are held in the lower level Classroom of the Library, 500 E Mitchell St unless otherwise noted.
