"The Life List" - From Novel to Netflix

The Library will be showing “The Life List” for our June 25 Petoskey Film Series, starting at 6:00pm, one hour earlier than our regular time. The movie was adapted from the novel of the same name by author Lori Nelson Spielman, who will be joining us to discuss how “The Life List” went from novel onto the screen as a romantic comedy drama on Netflix. Following its release on March 28, “The Life List” was the #1 movie on Netflix in the United States, along with 68 other countries. The film follows Alex Rose who learns after the death of her mother that her inheritance will be unlocked when she completes the life list she wrote at age 13. We’ll watch the movie and enjoy a Q&A with the author, Lori Spielman.
