National Library Week - Interactive Painting Demo

Celebrate National Library Week! This year's theme is Drawn to the Library. 

Gather in the Library Lobby to witness an interactive painting demonstration and discussion from artist Martina Hahn. In a manner of minutes, you will see a masterpiece unfold before your eyes. This event is open to all ages, with some seating and standing room capacity. During her painting presentation, Martina will talk about careers in art and library resources. 

Born and raised in the heart of Europe, Martina was exposed to art, culture and music from the start. She came to the U.S. at the age of 19, lived in San Francisco, Boston, and Augusta, Ga., then settled in northern Michigan in1993 to raise a family.

Martina delivers a unique twist on art. With her career as a professional artist now in its second decade, Martina has established herself as a highly desired and sought-after artistic performer and motivational speaker throughout Michigan, the United States and Europe, painting at corporate events, non-profit fundraisers, private events and motivational school assemblies for all age groups, to mention a few.
