Jerry Donnelly Coffee Talk

Get to know the writer behind the Petoskey News Review column “One Man’s Opinion.”  Jerry Donnelly will be presenting his life-long interest in writing pieces about everyday stuff.  “My two sons like to call my work “fluff pieces.” I like writing fluff. I hope my fluff is both inspirational and aspirational. That is my intent.” Jerry’s column appeared regularly under the title “Just Stuff” and later “One Man’s Opinion” from 1999-2023.  These pieces were compiled in the book Just Stuff in 2005, available to check out at the library. Jerry also enjoys researching the history of downtown Petoskey properties and published his informative summaries in the monthly column as well.  Join us to hear about his time as a columnist, his methods and findings while researching the history of downtown Petoskey, and …just stuff.
