Event Details
Celebrate Friends of the Petoskey Public Library Month with a special pop-up table on Tuesday, October 1, from 10:00 AM–7:00 PM in the Library foyer. Meet members of the Friends, learn how they support library programs, and find out how you can join or donate. Look for the big blue Friends banner hanging from the cupola and stop by to pick up information—or sign up to become a Friend on the spot.
✨ Get ready for an unforgettable evening! Join us for “A Night at the Library” on Thursday, October 9, 6:30–8:30 PM at the Petoskey District Library. This special fundraising event, themed “The Other Side of the Story,” will feature live performances by local actors, including skits inspired by Wicked, Salem Witch: The Fire & the Silence, and The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs. Enjoy literary monologues throughout the Library along with delicious drinks and culinary delights from local craft breweries and food vendors—all included in the $100 ticket price.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to support the Library’s programming and materials while socializing with friends and community members after hours! Tickets are required and can be purchased online or directly at the Library.
