Learn about the history of Emmet County’s Nub’s Nob Ski Resort during a presentation by Jim Bartlett on Monday, November 25, at 7:00pm, in the Carnegie Building upper level. From Nub’s Nob inception by Dorie and Norman “Nubby” Sarns in 1958 through to the present, Mr. Bartlett will share photos and commentary from his 45 years working for the company. Jim began as the business’ area manager in 1977 when Walter Fisher purchased the resort from the Sarns family, then moved into the general manager position from 1987 until 2017 when he shifted to a consultant role.
