Event Details

Did you know that chocolate is considered the “Food of the Gods”? Did your history teachers mention that Benjamin Franklin sold chocolate at his print shop back in the 1700s!

Join us for a tasty workshop on Thursday, February 6, from 6:00pm-8:00pm in the upper level of the Carnegie Building. Emmet County 4-H, in partnership with the Library, will host a 4-H Plant Science Educator who will share interesting facts about chocolate, from the Mayans to the latest trends with this delectable treat.

We will taste chocolate from around the world and make some tasty chocolate treats. This free workshop is intended for families. Registration is required. (All children under age 12 will need to be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.)
