***NOTICE - Due to extra time involved by our players in preparing for upcoming tournaments downstate, the November 13 monthly chess tournament has been canceled.
Petoskey Chess Club holds its monthly chess tournaments at the Carnegie Building. (The Carnegie Building is located across the street from the library at 451 Mitchell Street. Use the entrance at Bidwell Plaza and take the stairs or elevator up to the Carnegie's upper level.) Doors open at 5:30pm with games starting at 6:00pm.
The Swiss-style tournaments are rated by the U.S. Chess Federation (USCF). Competitors of all skill levels ages 8-18 are invited to participate, but membership in the USCF is required. For more information, email Robert Bemben.
