Storytime introduces your child to books, rhymes, music, puppets, flannelboard stories, taking turns, paying attention, and being in a group. All storytimes are different but they're all a lot of fun!

In celebration of National Library Week, the Library is heading downtown to spin tracks from our brand-new vinyl collection (created with funds donated by the Friends of the Petoskey Library).

Looking to join in on the popular game of Mah Jongg? EVERY TUESDAY from 1:00-3:00pm, we have the Lower Level Classroom set up for Mah Jongg games for players to drop in and join a game.

Paws to Read this spring with Mikko, an adorable standard poodle who is a therapy dog. She will be here with her owner Diana and they can’t wait to hear stories.  No sign up necessary.

In celebration of Law Day 2026, members of Emmet-Charlevoix Bar Association are once again hosting an “Ask the Lawyers” event on Friday, May 1, on the upper level of the Carnegie Building from 4:00-6:00pm.

Star Wars Trivia on Star Wars Day!

Star Wars fans of all ages are invited to test their knowledge of all things Star Wars! Prizes will be given for those who demonstrate mastery of the force.
